These terms govern the use of pitahayacancun.com and the purchase of transportation services from Pitahaya Transfers. By booking and paying you accept these terms, the cancellation policy and the privacy notice.

1. Who we are

Pitahaya Transfers is a brand of PITAHAYA TRANSFERS S.A. DE C.V., tax ID (RFC) PTR210409CX2, holder of SICT permit number 2344PTR22042021041901000, providing private passenger transportation in Cancún and the Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

2. The service

We offer private transfers (airport, hotels and destinations), hourly service and tours, in the vehicles listed on the site (sedan, SUV, private van and Sprinter). The service is private: the vehicle is only for your group.

Each vehicle's passenger and luggage capacity is shown when you book. It is the customer's responsibility to choose a vehicle that suits their group and luggage.

3. Booking and confirmation

A booking is confirmed once payment is received. You will get an email confirmation with a booking ID (Ride ID) and a PDF voucher, which you can also view on the site.

Please check that your details are correct: name, phone, email, date, time, flight number, hotel or address and number of passengers. Errors in this information can affect the service.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Mexican pesos (MXN) and do not include value-added tax (IVA). If you need an invoice, request it by WhatsApp or email with your booking ID and your tax details; when invoicing, the applicable IVA is added to the service amount. The US dollar (USD) amount shown on the site is only an approximate reference and may vary with the exchange rate; the charge is made in MXN.

The amount charged is the one you see in the summary before paying. Additional services not included in your booking (for example extra stops or additional waiting time) may carry a charge, which we will tell you about before applying it.

When booking you can choose between paying a 25% deposit (the remaining 75% is paid on boarding) or paying 100% online with the early-payment discount shown on the site. In case of a no-show, the deposit or payment made is not refunded.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Pitahaya Transfers does not store your card details.

5. Cancellations, changes and waiting

The rules on cancellation, refunds, changes, waiting time, flight delays, no-shows and the on-time guarantee are in the Cancellation, changes and waiting time policy, which is part of these terms.

6. Passenger information

By booking you declare that the information you provide is true and that you are authorized by the other people in your group to share their details with us.

If you travel with minors, let us know when you book. Minors must travel accompanied and with the safety equipment required by law; tell us if you need a special seat so we can confirm whether we can provide it.

7. Conduct and safety

For safety, all passengers must wear seat belts. Smoking inside the vehicle is not allowed. We may refuse or suspend the service if a passenger puts the driver, other passengers or the vehicle at risk; in that case no refund applies.

The customer is responsible for any damage that they or their group cause to the vehicle.

8. Luggage and lost items

Luggage must fit in the vehicle you booked and be declared when booking. If you realize you left something behind, tell us as soon as possible with your booking ID; we will do our best to help you recover it, without this implying responsibility for its loss.

9. Liability

We provide the service with due care and in line with applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for airline delays or cancellations, missed connections, or damages arising from incorrect information provided by the customer, acts of God or force majeure.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights that the law gives you as a consumer.

10. Claims

If you have a problem with the service, write to us within 7 days after the trip at pitahayatransfers@gmail.com or on WhatsApp, with your booking ID and a description of what happened. We will review your case and reply.

11. Intellectual property

The brand, logo, texts, images and design of the site belong to PITAHAYA TRANSFERS S.A. DE C.V. or its licensors. You may not copy or use them without our permission.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on the site and applies to bookings made from its update date.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Cancún, Quintana Roo, without prejudice to your right to go to Mexico's consumer protection agency (PROFECO) where applicable.
