Privacy notice

At Pitahaya Transfers we take care of your personal data. This notice explains what data we collect, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Data controller

PITAHAYA TRANSFERS S.A. DE C.V. (tax ID PTR210409CX2), with address at Codorniz Yucateca, Villas del Sol, ZIP 77723, Quintana Roo, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data. Privacy contact: pitahayatransfers@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

• Identification and contact data: name, email and phone number.
• Trip data: date, time, origin, destination, hotel or address, flight number, number of passengers and special notes.
• Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number. We keep only the payment reference and status.
• Technical data about your use of the site (for example device type and pages visited) through cookies or analytics tools, when active.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data.

3. What we use your data for

• Managing your booking, charging for the service and providing your transfer.
• Sending you your confirmation, voucher and notices about your trip.
• Coordinating your driver and tracking your flight.
• Handling questions, changes, cancellations, refunds and claims.
• Meeting legal and tax obligations.
• Measuring and improving how the site and our advertising perform, in aggregate.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Who we share your data with

We only share the data needed with providers that help us deliver the service and process it on our behalf:

• Stripe, to process payments.
• Supabase and Vercel, to host the site and the bookings database.
• Resend, to send confirmation emails.
• Google (Calendar, Maps and, when active, Analytics and Ads), for internal operations, route calculation and measurement.
• Our drivers and operators, with the data essential to provide your service.

We may share information with authorities when the law requires it.

5. Your rights (access, rectification, cancellation and objection)

You can ask to access your data, correct it, request its deletion or object to its use, and withdraw your consent, by writing to pitahayatransfers@gmail.com with your name, booking ID and what you are requesting. We will reply within the time limits set by law.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymize it.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site may use cookies and tools such as Google Analytics to understand how it is used and to measure the results of our advertising. You can disable them in your browser settings.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The current version is always published on this page.
